Cristy Trabadass is a writer, director, and producer born and raised in South Florida. Living in a sunny place full of shady people, she draws inspiration from “underground prestige,” focusing on the dark environments young people create to cope and express themselves.
Her work is unapologetically feminine, and she isn’t afraid to dive into the dirty details. A graduate of Florida State University's College of Motion Picture Arts, she has premiered films nationwide and participated in esteemed film programs from festivals like Telluride, Sundance, and the Comcast Latino Media Fest. Trabadass has collaborated with companies such as HBO, Rolling Loud, Strange Music, and more. She is also an alumni and Film Discipline Coordinator at Young Arts Foundation where she mentors the next generation of artists. You can watch her latest work on streaming services; Apple TV+, Amazon Prime, & TUBI.
